2007 Ford Fusion Review
The 2007 Ford Fusion is a mid-size 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan. The Ford Fusion is a carryover from 2006 and is available in three trims: the Fusion S, the Fusion SE, and the Fusion SEL. The 2007 Ford Fusion trims come with a 3.0, V6, 221-hp engines and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

The 2007 Ford Fusion Sedan has loads of standard features and accessories. The following are all standard: multiple airbags, anti-trap, anti-lockout, anti-theft, keyless entry, remote controls, remote releases, alloy wheels, CD player, full power accessories, speed-sensing interval wipers, tinted glass, power exterior mirror, rear defogger, air-conditioning, cruise, trip computer, steering wheel mounted controls, tilt steering, driver power seat, cloth interior, multiple storage compartments, and fog lights. Step up the trim to the Ford Fusion SEL and add a heated exterior mirror; automatic climate control; outside temperature gauge; compass; leather interior; and automatic headlights.

There are some premium upgrades that can be added to the 2007 Ford Fusion trims. They include: 4 wheel ABS, traction control, navigation aid, power sunroof, rear spoiler, front heated seats (SEL only), and leather interior.

The 2007 carryover Ford Fusion has a trim that is perfect for every consumer. The Ford Fusion has many comfort and convenient features to satisfy any driver or passenger. The 2007 Ford Fusion starts at an MSRP of $17,000; the Ford Fusion SE at $18,200; and the Ford Fusion SEL at $22,000. There are AWD versions of the trims offered and they start at $22,800.

Summary Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2007-2011 Ranger, 2006-2012 Fusion, Lincoln Zephyr, Lincoln MKZ, 2006-2011 Mercury Milan, 2007-2010 Ford Edge, and Lincoln MKX vehicles. The driver's side air bag inflator may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to high absolute humidity, high temperatures, and high temperature cycling.
Consequence An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.
Remedy Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver-side airbag inflator or module with an alternate one, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin April 1, 2021. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 21S12.
